Spring in the Ultental Valley and in Meraner Land, especially in St. Pankraz at Obkirchhof, is a time of awakening. Nature blossoms with fresh green meadows and blossoming apple trees (the apple blossom in Merano and Environs starts around the beginning of April, whereas here on the farm it is between mid-April and the beginning of May, depending on the weather).
The scent of grass and the buzzing of bees fill the air. Hikers enjoy the first flowers and the sound of the streams along the picturesque paths. The animals return to the pastures and rural life awakens to new activity. Spring in the Ulten Valley brings a special peace and beauty that bathes the valley in a warm, golden light.
Around St. Pankraz in Val d’Ultimo there are also a number of relaxing walks and nature trails that are perfect for leisurely excursions.

This interesting nature trail leads through the beautiful nature of the Ultental Valley and provides interesting information about the flora and fauna of the region.
The trail is well signposted and is ideal for a relaxed hike with many beautiful views.
A great walk, which can be done directly from our farm. You can walk directly to Eschenlohe Castle (unfortunately not open to the public) and on the way there is the cozy Hofschänke “Baumann”, which will be happy to spoil you with traditional farmhouse dishes.
