The area surrounding the Obkirchhof offers a variety of activities and excursion destinations for every taste.
Whether you want to enjoy the tranquillity of nature, be active in sports or experience culture – there is something for everyone here. Depending on the time of year, we are also happy to take you on a hike to our cattle on the mountain pasture or introduce you to South Tyrolean traditions.
Just a few kilometres away you will find hiking trails such as the nature trail or the mill trail, picturesque sights such as the Häusl am Stein and Eschenlohe Castle as well as the Falschauerbach stream for relaxing hours.
For winter sports enthusiasts, the ski area, toboggan run and cross-country ski trail are only 13 km away.
In summer, the bathing lake (12 km) beckons for a refreshing break.
The charming spa town of Merano is also ideal for a day trip – from shopping and cinema to cultural highlights – with a distance of around 17 km and good public transport connections.
Thanks to its proximity to the village centre (1.6 km) and shopping facilities, the Obkirchhof is the perfect starting point for your adventures in the Ulten region.
